Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
This policy explains what information EstateFlow ("we", "us") collects when you use our platform - as a tenant business running sales through EstateFlow, as a member of that business's staff, or as a shopper, bidder, or contact who interacts with a public sale, listing, or auction hosted on EstateFlow - and how we handle it.
Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, and role for anyone who registers a tenant account or is added as staff.
- Sale participant information: name, email, and phone number for bidders, garage-sale shoppers, and marketplace buyers who place a bid, offer, or RSVP - collected only for the sale or listing they interact with.
- Business data: catalog, pricing, settlement, and accounting records a tenant enters to run their sales.
- Usage data: basic technical logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) generated by using the platform, used for security and abuse prevention.
How we use it
We use this information to operate the platform: authenticating accounts, running bidding and settlement logic, sending transactional email (receipts, OTP codes, campaign sends a tenant initiates), and preventing fraud or abuse. We do not sell personal information.
AI features
Marketing copy generation and the AI Assistant run on infrastructure we operate by default, so tenant and listing data used in those features is not sent to a third-party AI vendor unless a tenant explicitly adds their own API key for an outside provider in their account settings, in which case that provider processes the request under their own terms.
Data isolation
Each tenant's data is logically isolated from every other tenant at the database level. Staff at one estate-sale business cannot see another business's records through the platform.
Your rights
You can request a copy of, correction to, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at [email protected]. If you contacted us through a specific tenant's sale or listing, we may need to route your request to that tenant, since they control that sale's records.
Changes to this policy
We'll update the date at the top of this page when this policy changes. Continued use of EstateFlow after a change means you accept the updated policy.
